Description

Not a Pointman figure -- a Futura work from the Noguchi collaboration that sits beside the Pointman story. In August 2021, in Isamu Noguchi's former studio across from The Noguchi Museum, Futura hand-painted a series of screenprints using Noguchi's Akari 1A surface designs (c. 1954). The grey 1AG Bowtie print is acrylic, marker and aerosol on washi paper; each of the 99 is unique. Continues the 2020 Futura Akari exhibition.
