Description
White/coloured variant of the FL-003 "39MEG" Japanese Bronze Kurotani sculpture. Edition 6 of 8, with artist-signed COA. Distinct from AK-43 (also white, edition 10/12, from CURIO): this example carries a coloured baking-finish speckle across the white ground, sourced separately through SBI Art Auction, Tokyo. Same casting as AK-16, AK-42 and AK-43. Shown in its presentation box, alongside a reference photograph of the piece.
Provenance
Purchased 2026 from a private owner via SBI Art Auction, Tokyo (private sale arranged by Shota Abe), priced in line with the edition's May 2022 auction benchmark. Signed purchase agreement returned 4 September 2026; payment in process. Edition 6 of 8, artist-signed and hand-numbered COA. Not yet delivered to Melbourne.
